Account Deactivated due to multiple accounts
Hi, so I woke up to my account deactivated due to being associated with another seller account. The other seller account is one that I attempted to create when I started Amazon in 2021 . When trying to start on Amazon then I put in the wrong entity namely sole trader when I wanted to start on an individual account, it then asked me for my UTR which obviously I did not have. I couldn't find a way to get out of the process so just left it and created an account with another email which I have been using for the past 3 years.
When I try to log in to the linked account it just takes me to the registration page as at the time I didn't complete the process and therefore the account was never activated and was certainly never used as a seller account.
I tried to explain this to Amazon but just get the generic answer about fixing the linked account and then appealing for my account I use. I can't fix the account because it was never created and exists in name only, surely Amazon can see this from their side or am I giving them too much credit.
Any help to get this sorted would be gratefully appreciated.

Unfortunately you shouldnt have opened a second account while the first needed fixing.
Amazon are correct that the only solution now that they have linked the accounts, is to fix the original account and then close the second account. Doesnt matter that the account was never used.
