What more do they want from me?

I get an email from a customer saying the CD I sent was defective. I ask him to start a return and he'll get a full refund.

After a few weeks the customer still has not started a return...then I get an email from Amazon saying he has opened an AtoZ claiming INR and that Amazon want more info from me. I tell them the customer has already said the item was defective, that means the order must have been recieved. I send another email to customer restating the fact that if the item is returned he will get a full refund.

No reply.

Another week passes.

Then Amazon email me again saying it still needs more info from me. What info it doesn't say.

What more can I tell them that will stop this AtoZ?

Hello, This is quite normal, below is a message i send to amazon for any A-Z claims that deal with this issue, i win them around 80% of the time.

Hello, We have made several attempts to reach out to this customer. The customer is required to ship the parcel to our facility, and upon receipt, we will promptly refund both the item and the amount they paid for postage. Despite clear communication regarding this process, the customer has declined to return the item to us. Your refund policy stipulates that we must receive the goods before processing any refunds. Rest assured, once we have the item in our possession, we will issue a refund promptly. Additionally, we want to emphasise that we will reimburse the postage cost once the item has been sent back to us. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
