I received a cancelation request, but customer said they don't want to cancel

I have an order from a customer for 3 custumized items. We sent a proof, the customer approved the proof. Then I received a request to cancel the order. I ask the customer if they want to cancel the order, and they said they didn't. If I ship this order, will I get paid?

I had this happen to me last month. The buyer did actually accidentally request a cancellation, but sent me a note that they did want the book and it was an accident. This was all in buyer messaging within Amazon, in case they ever disputed it. I clicked on Ship the Item, and got a box that said if I shipped and the customer didn't want it, I would have to accept and pay for a return.

I did get paid for the order. And a five star feedback from the customer who was happy I shipped it without canceling and making her re-order, which is another way to go about it.

Be careful with customized items. You will be forced to accept a return for products you can potentially not sell again. You are also putting yourself at risk for an A-Z claim set up. I would apologize to the customer and tell them you are forced to cancel that order and to please make a new order....
