Free Returns?
Is there any advantage to turning on FREE RETURNS? I.e., like does anybody feel it helped their visibility/sales?
Since I am paying return shipping anyway most of the time, I figured maybe it would make sense to turn the option on so the Free Returns notation appears on my listings...
I realize this precludes me from requesting reimbursements for return shipping regardless of the reason (even if the buyer lies to get free return shipping, etc.), but most of my reimbursement requests are for switcheroos anyway...i've rarely bothered trying to get return shipping reimbursed.

I think that listings with "Free Returns" badge may attract more attention from buyers, improve customer confidence in purchasing and may help compete better with similar products that don't offer free returns.
Since you're already absorbing return shipping costs and rarely pursuing reimbursements, enabling free returns could be beneficial. The potential visibility boost and customer trust factor might outweigh the minimal additional cost impact, especially since it aligns with your current operational reality.
Consider testing this for a few months to measure any impact on sales volume, return rates, feedback and overall profitability.
Curious to hear from other sellers too.
May the sales be with you, Nullandvoid! 🌟
