Amazon not helping on closing my account

I am trying to close my Amazon account after losing thousands of dollars to their unfair practice but I am getting the runaround. i tried to liquidate the inventory which takes forever. now they keep showing a few items in reserve that I can liquidate, return or dispose of and for that reason they not closing my account.

I need to close my business but I can do that without closing my account. Can anyone help since tech support are useless.

" I can liquidate, return or dispose of and for that reason they not closing my account. "

So pick one of the three and do it. Otherwise they will keep charging you for storage until they are removed.

"after losing thousands of dollars to their unfair practice"

All their fees and policies are spelled out before you signed up for your account. They might not be very clear but they are there.

Estimates are that 1/3 of all sellers on Amazon are losing money and most don't have a clue that it is happening.

You are one step ahead by recognizing the losses.

Yes, liquidation can take a long time. It's not just Amazon saying "okay, you're stuff is liquidated", there needs to be someone who will buy your stuff. If it's not good, it may never get anyone interested.

Disposal is your best bet (or removal, if you want it back).

Hello there! @Seller_yXLquskEwxYIE

Thank you for using the Forums. Removing inventory from Fulfillment centers is an essential step before closing the account, I acknowledge that liquidating inventory can take a long time.

Unfortunately, we can't expedite liquidation or removal/disposal processes, once your inventory is zeroed out you should move forward with the closure request.

Close your seller account

If your inventory is zeroed out, and you still need support to proceed with the closure, don't hesitate to reach out through the Forums again.

Regards,

Roberto
