Guys need some help!

Asin B0B1BF5GBS
UK market

We sell this item and the profits go to charity, but recently another seller joined and started selling the same product, this products listing already existed with a lot more reviews but I didn’t list there as this money goes to charity…My listing clearly says its for charity and I even get messages from buyers telling me how they are buying it for charity purposes as we muslims are obligated to give charity every year… Now what do I do about the other seller, I doubt they are doing it for charity as they are selling on the other listing as well

Hi

I donate the proceeds from several of my products to local charities and community groups.

On Amazon people can piggy back on to other listings to sell the exact same product.
People can even do it where I’ve purchased the barcode to list on here as I believe Amazon own the ASINs that we put on here.

As far as I’m aware there’s nothing that can be done, especially on generic products.

Good luck on your sales and I hope your fund raising goes well.

I don’t think you’re actually allowed to say that in a listing and any generic product listing should be used by everyone selling that product, it’s not specifically for you

You can donate your proceeds to charity if you like, doesn’t mean you should be able to kick someone else off the listing who isn’t, it’s a business! Also Devil_juice is your username and you’re selling zam zam water??

Yeah as above the product listing, particularly for generic goods that anyone can sell should describe just that, the product and not anything associated with a specific seller like delivery or charitable donations.

I would have also thought the brand was actually pini clo as well here. Plus that Asian states the customer may get either 5ltr or 4x 1.5ltr which h I don’t believe is allowed oh and the country of origin is the UK which I assume is incorrect.

Perhaps focus on your jewellery lines where your brand is working with Gal Gadot and Zendaya for a bit instead?

I didn’t think you could export Zamzam water for commercial use? A quick google confirms this.

I never cease to be surprised at the things that can be bought on Amazon.

I would think importing this by bringing it in as baggage must be a bit of a nightmare when it comes to customs as if not declared in advance that would mean going through the red channel - assuming it is being declared as commercial goods of course. It would also mean OP needing an EORI number too i think.

Hi,
Product detail pages are not seller specific so everyone in theory can list against them ( sometimes subject to approval/authorisation etc…)
If you want to tell customers about your donations to charity or anything else about your business.
This is where you should do it (see link below)
