Amazon stealing my money for months
I got my account deactivated months ago because of BS "Intellectual Property Rights Claim" because a company named "Sharper Image" claimed I counterfeited one of their Smores Makers. Also it one ONE UNIT, I would get a Counterfeit claim if I tried to FBA THOUSANDS OF THEM in brand new condition, NOT ONE SINGLE UNIT IN USED LOL
Yeah. I didn't fake manufacture in my garage a plastic and metal smores maker and holder lol, but with no way to "prove" that to amazon they can just shut my account down because they don't want competition on their listing lol. Never understood why amazon will let you sell used thrifted items and then 5 seconds later that same item gets your account deleted then why let me even list the items lolllllllllll. I spent DAYS of actual time trying to convince the Indians at tech support that it is physically impossible for me to have counterfeit that item but they barely speak English so lol. Can't even get them to acknowledge a problem
They said I would get my last payment in 90 days but I've had over $600 in my balance for almost a YEAR now without receiving payment.
So, when you still have a seller account but it's been deactivated, you physically CANNOT request help through the seller portal, as I'm not paying for those "Seller Services" anymore with a deactivated account.
Except now, obviously, I can't physically get in contact with the people at Seller Central NO MATTER WHAT I DO. I had "Joe from Amazon Leadership" tell me 4 days ago that he'd send my info to Seller Support but even they are PHYSICALLY INCAPABLE of transferring me to seller support. Incredible system from one of the biggest companies on the planet
So, I have money in my account, no way to get it to me and no idea why it's not being paid, and literally no physical way to contact amazon about it outside of the Customer Support people who Amazon literally refuses to allow contact with the Seller Support side.................................so now I just don't get my money lol?
Anyone else experiencing this?

Amazon's Business Plan:
1. Advertise selling used thrited items on amazon
2. Get people to work on all their listing and waste their time and money
3. Allow massive anonymous corporations to make "Counterfeit" claims of items that would require a massive Chinese Factory and thousands of employees to manufacture, even though the person is obviously just getting stuff from garage sales and thrift stores like we told them too
4. Ban them all claiming they DO have a secret Chinese factory sweat shop in their garage
5. Don't even pay them the money they did earn
6. Deactivate their account severing their lifeline to help so when they can't get their final payment they have LITERALLY no way to even talk to someone about the problem
7. Profit

You do realize that Sharper Image is a pretty major brand, right? And as such, they have a right and obligation to protect their IP, right?
One or 1000, doesn't matter.
Yes, it is frustrating that Amazon assumes that sellers know what they are doing, and have permission to do so.
No, when Amazon holds payments, they say you can REQUEST the funds after 90 days. But if there are outstanding IP complaints, they CANNOT release your funds. This is spelled out in the terms you agreed to when you signed up.
It's not being paid, because you could not prove that you were selling authentic items.
You listed on their listing, right (or claimed it was their brand)? They know who is authorized; you're not one of those people. So they know that it is not an authorized product. So no reason for a test buy.
Amazon has changed over the years, no doubt. But for a long time, it has not been the place to sell random thrift-store items; it's for real businesses. Sadly, they do not make this very clear; at least they got rid of the "Have one to sell" button, but still do little to discourage people from falling into the same trap that you fell in to.
But bottom line is that you cannot prove your item is authentic; therefore Amazon CANNOT release your funds. Be glad it's such a small amount.

Hello @Seller_aMaI1oHdt9JcL
Thank you for the information regarding the issues that you have experienced with your account. I understand that you are looking to understand what is occurring with your funds.
As mentioned by @Seller_nRFmxiQg4EGrw, the time frame is for requesting the funds release. Per our funds policy, you may request your funds from our disbursement team at disbursement-appeals@amazon.com. They will conduct their own investigation to determine if the funds can be released.
Have you attempted this step as of yet? Without making the request, the funds will not be released after the 90 days. Please continue to refer to this thread for any future questions or concerns regarding this situation.
Best,
Atlas

100% correct. Which is why such items are not suitable to sell on Amazon. And of course, if listed as New, there is an additional problem. eBay is the better place for such used items.
Nope; not the way it works. Amazon assumes (often incorrectly) that sellers know what they are doing, and are complying with the ToS that they agreed to when they signed up. Amazon assumes that you are a real business, operating in a legit way. When they discover that they made a mistake, that is when they ask for verification.
As you stated, you have no way of proving that your item is authentic. Therefore, you have no way of KNOWING that your item is authentic. Sharper Image made no mistake in protecting their IP.
