Hello I wanted to ask I am buying items off the lego website to ungate lego and I was buying 5 of each of two different keychains a total of 10. Can I do this. or I have to buy 10 of one unit

That is not how Amazon wishes sellers to source.
Head to Seller University and especially watch about sourcing.
You would need a letter of authorization from the brand, and for Lego you will not be getting that.
And you should not be buying retail in order to sell retail.

No-that is not how this works. You will be asked to provide invoices and all you will have are receipts. You need permission from Lego with a LOA.

Added comment -- My son has a brick and mortar store and IS a Lego dealer.
As I recall, to be a direct dealer buying from Lego themselves the MINIMUM starting order is something like $10,000.
If you are wondering if buying 10 of one item will be good enough you are in water way over your head.
Find different products that are not as protective and BUY DIRECT and get an LOA before you do anything.
Some of my suppliers only require $350 initial orders while others are over $1500.
