Deactivated coz I helped another family member
Hey guys! I’m a new seller and my account was just activated last month. After that, all I did was assist my family member to setup her seller’s account, who lives in a different country, and has registered legal entity in that country. Amazon has deactivated both the accounts. Amazon wants me activate my relative’s account by submitting Supporting documentation may include sales deed, purchase agreement, or business transfer agreement, contract termination, etc.

Oh this is a tricky one as there will now be a link between the 2 accounts going forward so you both now need to keep clean accounts if you get reinstated
You may also have issues if you both list in the same category in the future
As said already, the first thing to do is get your family member to get their account through verification, without that you’ll struggle to get yours reinstated
Never, ever use your computer, IP address or login etc to access another account

What are the steps to close the account though? Do i just leave it the way it is, do nothing?

My account gets the notification that I’m related to my fam’s account. And my fam’s account receives the notification that she’s connected to my account. So having submitted all the associated documents, there’s nothing much left to do. I’m just planning on closing my account now since I’ve invested more than a month on this.

I was wondering why other posters hadn’t asked you for more details then I noticed your earlier thread:
It looks like you have/had multiple issues with your account though I still don’t quite understand how you are connected with the other family member’s account.
Was it simply a case of you both using the same computer or IP address or is there more to it?

So let’s be clear:
You live in india
You went to China and stayed with your brother
She logged into her account on your device at your brothers house (which isn’t her house) on one occasion
(Although in previous threads you’ve said you logged into her account on your device)
This seems a bit of a tenuous link to me as people must temporarily use the same ip as others more often than a one off thing and not get suspended.
Is there definitely nothing more to it?

Still de-activated. I’ve already manufactured my inventory as planned and received my goods; well over two months now, and still waiting for my account to be re-instated

Not sure when, but I’m still waiting for some responsible associates to solve my shop issue instead of repeatedly receiving constantly same messages.
