FBA order was shipped late by Amazon and customer initiated a return

Hello,

Has anyone ever had an experience where Amazon shipped the order late for the customer causing the customer to initiate a return?

I received an order for two units of the same product on 2-July-2024 and on the order detail page it was showing the Amazon ship by date as 3-July-2024. However, Amazon hasn't shipped the order to the customer until after 9-July-2024. I'm not sure when the order was exactly delivered to the customer, but customer initiated the return after the order was received and the reason was specifically selected as "Item was not received by the estimated delivery date"

The product was returned to the inventory and has no issues on that regard.

Note: The inventory was not in transit when the order was received and was actively sitting in the FC ready to be fulfilled. I'm not sure if there is some other external factor that has impacted the delivery, but I lost close to 30-35 dollars because of pick &pack fee, refund administration fee etc., which is almost close to the cost of one month professional selling subscription fee.

Shouldn't Amazon reimburse me for the fees that was lost because of this transaction?
