LTL - Partnered carriers unavailable

Hi,

I'm new to Amazon Seller, I've been trying to set up a shipment LTL from my warehouse in Quebec for over a week but I keep hitting roadblocks.

1 - Why would my shipment be going to YEG1, if I'm in Quebec? I know there's an Amazon Facility about 2 hours from me.

2- I'm trying to send a pallet and the LTL option shows Partnered Carriers Unavailable. I don't know what to do from here?

I have done the chat and phone calls to Amazon multiple times, been on hold for over 20 minutes at a time each time and no one can help me, I keep being told that my issue has been sent to internal teams.

I'm certain that since I'm new I have probably just entered something wrong or forgotten something, but no one can help.

Your products are more in demand on the west coast and needs to go there first before being split.

Other sellers can chime in, but I don't believe there are any partnered carriers in Canada for LTL. I believe the only Amazon partnered carrier for FBA is UPS for SPD.

Hello @Seller_iFlLY0a6ajjFQ,

Thank you for reaching out to the Selling Partner Communities regarding the challenges you're facing with setting up a shipment from your warehouse in Quebec as a new Amazon seller.

  1. Shipment Destination: The reason your shipment is being routed to YEG1 (Amazon's fulfillment center in Edmonton, Alberta) could be due to the product inventory needs and available capacity at different fulfillment centers. Amazon's systems optimize shipment destinations based on various factors, including inventory levels, demand patterns, and operational efficiency.
  2. LTL Option Unavailability: After double-checking, it appears that there are currently no LTL (Less Than Truckload) partnered carrier options available for Amazon Canada. This could be the reason why you're encountering the "Partnered Carriers Unavailable" message for the LTL option. Thank you @Seller_7LrAV0m5llaI7for yuor input on this.

For more information on the available carrier options for Amazon Canada, please refer to the help page: Partnered Carrier Options.

As a new seller, it's understandable that you may encounter some initial hurdles while navigating the shipping and fulfillment processes. Amazon's systems and procedures are designed to ensure smooth operations and maintain high standards for customer experience.

Here are a few suggestions that may help you move forward:

  1. Consider splitting your shipment into smaller batches or individual packages, as Amazon's systems may be more accommodating for smaller shipments from new sellers initially.
  2. Reach out to Seller Support again, and specifically request guidance on the best shipping option for your pallet shipment from Quebec, given the current limitations with LTL partnered carriers.
  3. Be patient and persistent. As a new seller, it may take some time for Amazon's systems to fully recognize and accommodate your shipping requirements, especially for larger shipments like pallets.

The Selling Partner Communities team is here to support you throughout your journey as an Amazon seller. If you continue to face difficulties after following the above suggestions, please feel free to reach out to us again with more specific details, and we'll do our best to assist you further.
