Dear sellers,

I shipped an order to customer by purchasing shipping label from amazon "Buy Shipping". Unfortunately customer has received the item with dented, also customer returned the item to us. Refund has been issued. All are done with customer. I have the item in my location, Can i file damage claim with carrier (UPS or Fedex)? If answer is YES, i got another question;

1- what is the process to file damage claim? is the online system or call UPS customer service?

2- would UPS or Fedex come to pickup the package from me ?

3- if claim approved, who would received the payment?

4- Usually i do not add declare value as i purchase shipping label from amazon, so would it matters for carriers to decide the claim?

I am sorry for many questions, I am new to amazon seller, I am learning to file damage claim.
