I really do not want to dampen your spirit and enthusiasm, but to be very honest the mobile accessories market really is saturated - just have a look on Amazon for the thousands of items available, and you will have to compete with them to even get off the ground. You would need something quite unique and special / different to be noticed, but good luck in your business.

Welcome. It's a really exciting thing to do.

My advice would be if you are planning a private label - start by understanding in your mind how you will communicate with your customers. What will make your listing different enough to draw your customer's attention?

I wouldn't get down about people telling you how busy a niche is...if you are a good marketer, thats to say a good communicator, you will rise above your competition. Otherwise you will struggle. And be ready to plow at least 200% of the cost of your sales in PPC for the first month to buy your way up the BSR ladder.

If you are new to Amazon it can be daunting so do your research. Then spend time researching what you didn't know you'd need to research and learn that too.

If you consider yourself ready to start selling we have to assume you'll have done your market research and have suppliers, packaging, logistics and all taxes, legalities in hand, that's totally down to you.

As for advice to help with selling on Amazon:

Read and watch every video in Amazon seller university that seems even remotely related to your business, rewatch and research anything that doesn't immediately make sense.

Secondly allocate a lot of time and read every post in this forum for at least the last six months (preferably a year or more) and you will learn what not to do. Most people come to the forums in desperation, sometimes exasperated at Amazon policy, sometimes to work out how to make amends their own innocent error and some are massively entitled individuals who consider themselves above Amazon rules and are so obviously just trying to beat the system. You'll soon be able to see which is which.

You'll see lots of recurring themes such as DD+7 payments (you'll be on that anyway) but also why people get their accounts deactivated such as buying retail and then listing items as new (often buying from Amazon themselves), selling poor quality items that get poor reviews and wondering why they don't get the buy box, selling items banned in the UK etc etc. You'll get tips on how to communicate with Amazon who seemingly only send AI generated messages and what to expect in terms of customer returns, A to Z and safeT issues and so much more.

Take the time to learn what to do via seller university and what not to do via the forums and your Amazon journey will be a lot easier.

welcome and if you're new on amazon and have well or atleast fairly researched product, its definately going to a good initial ride on amazon.

Amazon will start throwing one by one suggestion/emails/messages/call - that as per them is to aim your business but in my experience it may not. Be it VAT, FBA, PAN EU and many more but please be super cautious while opting for any of them.

Have a really really good read at seller university and small or big - keep a proper paper trail for any purchases that you intend to sell on amazon.

Be ready for the surprises even after taking care of everything :).

Competion are everywhere and i guess amazon is really good place for products with multiple sellers - if you can get them at better price and through trusted partner.
