Well done, and I agree with you, as I am now running down my stock with them (FBA) and the sooner it is sold the better

Good for you. We are going down the same route, as too many scammers when compared to other selling platforms. Amazon used to be great for us, but not anymore.

It's being consider by many as the DD+7 days that has already been kicked into the short grass twice is set to be a reality in April I understand.

Quite how one is supposed to know which items Amazon has credited you for against those it has not credited you for will be a challenge.

Honestly I dont think we along with many others will be far behind you. The A to Z scheme is beyond a joke. Twice this week we have had A to Z auto granted and appeals knocked back.

Even when the customer has signed for the items at their home address !

You cannot add evidence to A to Z claims and even when you prove beyong any doubt the customer has the item they dont care, stand by their decision and you get defects.

We are told we are "valued selling partners", well it doesnt feel like it at all

At this point I think something serious needs to be done to overhaul the A to Z scheme as its not fit for purpose at all and the decisions are beyond a joke

The Cost of selling on this platform is getting more and more expensive. They keep asking us to spend more on advertising with all the fees it works out to over 50%. We are also finding groups of people are starting to abuse the returns policies and prepaid returns.

we are considering closing down after 6 years just because of the lack of consistency in the A to Z decision making undertaken by Amazon. It is rather sad but we can get as many sales on other platforms as on Amazon. Everyday more platforms are joining in and Amazon is losing its appeal.

I agree with you but don’t envy you getting rid of 67000 books.Let me know anyone whose looking for books ( but not the usual suspects) I have been on Amazon for 6 years ( previously ABE.) First 3-4 years fine; last 2+a gradual decline. Its not so much scammers as trying to compete with the £3.50 merchants.People don’t put that a book is ex- lib, they don’t list all faults, they list the same book 2-3 times, and some put enormous prices that Amazon don’t sanction .This is all down to Amazon not being able to monitor sellers over a worldwide network and with a multiplicity of products. The system is too big and needs to be broken up and managed by specialists in each area.

Best of luck for the future.

When I literally threatened them with a Small Claims Action by way of a LBA direct to their registered office over £550 was the time to call it a day.

They reactivated my account for 24 hours allowed the disbursement and then went back to demanding verification for an account we had been running for 5 years with NO changes.

That was 3 years ago and have not missed the Amazon aggro for one single day, you adjust to the short term loss in income but boy do you get back your sanity.

Best of luck without the Amazom milestone around your neck, the best years are long gone on here.
