Lack of feedback.
Hi we have been selling on Amazon for less than a month and have processed around 160 orders via FBA and MFN but as yet not one customer has left any feedback.
Reading comments online it seems customers very rarely leave feedback on Amazon and you basically aren't allowed to pursue customers for feedback so if we just receive one negative feedback I'm concerned it will have an impact on our account despite processing 160 orders with no issues.
How does Amazon address or deal with this lack of feedback.
Any input appreciated
Thanks
Suzanne

Personally I think people are basically fed up of being asked for feedback for everything they purchase online, which nowadays is almost everything.
Feedback rates are low on Amazon anyway, except people will be quick to complain, so no feedback is better than neg. feedback !
In the past they did used to send out emails to request fb, but not sure if they do this still ?? - I never buy from Amazon myself !

Looking at historic figures, we get about 1 seller feedback a day. They do definitely send out emails.
You can Request a Review via the button in shipped orders - though no idea what that does.
I doubt amazon are that concerned about a lack of seller feedback in all honesty.

We gat about 0.5% of customers leave feedback, it is not really used much on Amazon except where people want to vent.

Even if you had 159 positive feedbacks, if you got 1 negative it would go against the 160 orders as a % and would not take into account the 159 positives.
So while positive feedback is nice to receive and "may" boost you up on the algorithm? The key is to avoid negatives & address them quickly when/if they do get left. Hope this helps.
