40 ASIN's not found using EXACT title - SS cases closed almost immediately
So... in researching why our sales have seriously diminished. I have found 40 of our 400 ASIN's are not found in search using the EXACT title. This logically dictates that no matter what keyword from that title you use, it will not be found. That is 10% of our listings not found using the EXACT title.
I have opened cases for all of these ASIN's and I get the response that the ASIN is searchable using the ASIN in the search bar and the case is closed.
What customer uses the ASIN to search for products? Searchable by ASIN and searchable by keywords are 2 entirely different things.
Is anyone else seeing this with their ASIN's?
@SEAmodHey Susan. Here's another crazy thing happening to listings only listed in handmade category. Maybe you can help with this one.

Hi @DestLTD,
Thanks for the post and hope you had a good weekend.
Can you share the case id that you opened with Seller Support.
Thanks in advance.

@Seller_2azHBWt7FzGTGyou are not alone!
@priscilla_amazon I just went through the first 10 ASINs in my catalog, and did the find in search for the exact title trick. When an ASIN did not come up with the title search, I pasted the ASIN into the ASIN search tool in seller central. It then asked for the search URL, and after providing that information, it said that there was a search problem with the ASIN and automatically created a ticket. I'm going to wait to see what support says when they reply back to the ticket before taking any next steps.
As a double check, when the ASIN did show up using the exact title search, I also used the ASIN search tool to say that there was a problem with the ASIN. The results of the tool came back with no search problems found for that ASIN. So this trick so far is very accurate in finding just the ASINs with search problems at the moment.
I've been down for months in my YOY comparables, and having a large part of my catalog essentially unsearchable would definitely contribute to that issue. If there is a way to escalate this issue we'd all appreciate it!
Thanks!

What exactly did you see wrong and do to correct it?
