Evri lost the item, I raised lost claim 3 times and nothing changed.

I raised lost claim 3 times and it took almost 1 month, I can not reach a real person on Evri customer service. They send me an email to fill lost claim form which doesnt work. I already refunded the amount the buyer paid. I dont know whatelse I can do.

I take it this was a parcel going out to the customer?

And was the label using Amazon Buy Shipping?

Same thing happened to me , Send an item to customer , evri lost it, filled in the claim form, sent few follow up emails , but no response and compensation. No customer service , you cannot speak to customer services. Wouldnt use them again. Complete waste of time and money. Not sure how amazon have them as a partner with such a poor service.

If it was purchased via Amazon buy shipping then it is not insured, it states this during the label purchase transaction. If you use P2GO and book it then you can add insurance.

all of this is systematic ...they do this all the time they want you to give up the claim

I think maybe this number still works: 0330-8085456 8am-4pm Monday to Friday and 8.30am-2pm Saturday.

Overall, I found Evri are useless, Amazon tend to only use them for returns, where lots go into a skip anyway, as nothing has to be packaged any more.

£20 transit cover, compared to RM £150 - shows how even Evri don't trust their deliveries.

We only use Evri if no other choice. Then we add signed for, as then a better chance of a delivery (plus a label on the parcel reminding it is Signed For).

Even the £20 is hard to claim as Amazon's Evri (Hermes) Account. Assuming you are using Buy Shipping.

Nag them, they sometimes pay out, usually takes hours of your time, far more than £20 worth!

This has happened at least 15 times for some of my returns.

The buyer requests a return, Amazon provides the EVRI return label and then EVRI looses the parcel on the way back. The client gets the refund and we are left without the parcel. When contacting EVRI, they advise that Amazon has provided the label and they cannot provide any information in regards to the claim processs.

It is a vicious cirlce and from experience we have realized that there is no option to resolve this.
