VAT payment

Hi,

My business is registered in the UK as a limited liability company. Since our annual turnover is below £85,000 VAT threshold we are not VAT registered. Do we still need to pay VAT on sales on Amazon? Thank you

If your business is classified as established in the UK, which is not the same as having a UK-registered limited company, then there's no VAT on sales.

You would though pay VAT on Amazon's fees.

The threshold is now £90,000

As long as you are established in the UK and you are not registered for VAT then you do not pay VAT on sales if your turnover is below £90,000

Looking at your company on Companies house the Director appears to be a British National based in the UK so you wouldn't normally need to be registered for VAT.

However the director is a Director of 2 active Limited Companies. This may mean you need to register for VAT for both Companies. You might want to talk to an accountant about this.
