order ID: 702-0896139-3915468
Order shipped on time, delivered on time, customer agreed received, customer requested a return, we mentioned about return policy, customer refused to abide by policy, customer claims A-Z, , A-Z granted stating we did not respond within 48 hours, we appealed with proof of communication history and emails as well that it was responded on time, Appeal denied as usual with bogus A-Z
moderator, please check and reverse claim
this is getting ridiculous

Hello @Seller_R9WesGvPFxipV
I am happy for you....cause through all your A2Z issues, I haven't seen you complain about your Account Health. This would indicate that you have very good sales. Keep it up!
As for the A2Z's - see this thread in its entirety. I believe it will be helpful for you. PS: don't miss the video

Hello @Seller_R9WesGvPFxipV
Christine here from Amazon Forums.
I was checking the Order 702-0896139-3915468 and I can see that the return request was not approved within 48 hours.
When the AtoZ team sent you the communication stating that you did not respond within 48 hours, they were making reference to the return request.
As a matter of fact, after checking under the Main Menu in the order tab and select Manage returns, I can see that this return was closed due to the refund done by Amazon after granting the claim.
Please know that as per the A to Z policies :
"You must authorize, respond, or both to all return requests. It is best practice to respond to all return requests within 24 hours. Failure to respond to a return request within 48 hours will result in a granted claim and an immediate debit to your account."
You can confirm this information in the link below:
Prevent an A-to-z Guarantee claim
I hope this information help you clarify the reason of the decision took by the A to Z claims team.
Christine.

Sellers are always loosers with Amazon

Your case is quite common. We went through similar situations in the past. We had even more absurd cases. The order was delivered before due date. Courier driver placed it in front of the door with picture shown on the courier delivery page. Initially, Amazon refused the A-Z claim. However, the customer filed ANOTHER A-Z claim and he was granted the case and we lost the money.
I am not sure how many times a buyer can apply for A-Z claim. It's so easy for Amazon to reverse its decision based on NO CRITERIA and ONLY for buyers and NEVER for sellers.
A-Z claims are the best way for bad actors to get something for nothing.
