Have you registered with HMRC as self-employed ? - either sole-trader or limited company.
If you are buying items to sell on for profit then you must do this straight away.
You will need to supply Amazon with your UTR if sole-trader, or the articles and share allotment if you are a limited company, and have an Amazon BUSINESS seller account.

Well are you a ltd company? If not, you have given them the wrong information when signing up.

If so, did you look into the responsibilities of being a ltd company ?

I think the problem is so many new sellers think it sounds good to be a limited company, or just assume that any business has to be a company, and do not research or understand the implications and responsibilities.
Just like many do not realise they have to be registered as self-employed, even as a sole-trader, and think they can just sell items without keeping accounts etc.

As you have registered a limited company, then you should really know what these things are, otherwise it means that you have undertaken a lot of legal requirements without doing any research first. That being the case, you really need to speak to an accountant as there is a lot of legal requirements you have signed up to, and you need to make sure you fully understand these before you get youself in any trouble.

Interesting how many come on here asking for help/advice, then when they are given it, we never see or hear from them again.
