Menstrual underwear

I have been trying to list my menstrual underwear for months now and it keeps getting rejected due to it being considered a medical device. Amazon continues to state it needs to have FDA registration, pre- market notification, etc. I spoke with the FDA and it does not need to be registered (attached that letter to seller central), I have all the OEKO TEX standard certificate stating it’s free of PFAS, etc. I have spoke to a sales rep, the catalog team, compliance team and the leadership team. Every department states they don’t have the authority to help me and will escalate it to the right person. I have been sitting on products since December and I am feeling frustrated as it seems Amazon is not looking at my documents provided to see it doesn’t need FDA registration. Has anybody else experienced this issue? I love any guidance on this issue. Thank you.

the first question i would ask myself, is what can I do from MY end.

Is my listing in the proper category

Did I use any words that led the bot to believe this is a medical device

How can I reword my listing to avoid this....

Hi,

I would recommend not to use the words like medical and health. You can add this product in beauty category.

Good Morning @Seller_dI5BaRDvWGYFe,

It looks like you were able to receive some guidance from some of our seasoned sellers on the forums regarding your product rejection.

If any of their replies helped you, feel free to mark it as “Most Helpful reply” using the 3 dots in the corner of their post. This helps other sellers find the answer to your question at the top of the post just in case they find themselves in a similar situation.

I took a look at a few of your cases and it appears you ended up submitting compliance documentation on CASE ID ending in 2841. If you do not hear back from the compliance team within the next 15 business days (by Wednesday March 19th, 2025) or still require additional assistance, please reach back out to us with your latest CASE ID and we can see what next steps can be taken.

Until then, have a wonderful rest of your weekend.

Sincerely, Cooper_Amazon
