ASIN Incorrectly Classified as Adult Product: CASE ID 16388432921 - Mod Assistance Requested

We have an ASIN that is not currently searchable on Amazon. Similar to many other recent cases in the forums, the help wizard cites the reason as being that the product has been classified as an adult product. Any reasonable observer can see that it does not meet the criteria of an adult product in any way- it's a common everyday household item.

We submitted a case (ID: 16388432921) two weeks ago with seller support, but are getting nowhere. They agree it does not meet the criteria of an adult product, but after being told three times that they resolved the issue (and waiting 72 hours as requested each time), the ASIN is still not searchable (only sponsored placements show), and the help wizard still reports that the ASIN is classified as an adult product.

This is one of our top selling products with 5+ years of successful sales, and this issue is substantially impacting our business, I would appreciate any help in breaking through this logjam and getting this issue resolved.

I'm happy to report that as of today this issue is finally resolved. I have no idea what took so long or how exactly it was fixed- it took six tries and a month of back and forth with seller support to remove the search restriction- I can only imagine somewhere there is a long queue of products being reviewed, and that the support team is just putting them into that queue. This is unfortunate that it took so long and cost us a lot of sales.

For anyone else who finds themselves in this same boat, just keep your support ticket open and stay on them until your product is searchable. You will know it is fixed if you can type your ASIN into the search box and see your product in the organic results. Additionally, the "Listing not buyable, Investigate inactive or blocked listings" tool under "Help and Resources" will tell you if your product is being suppressed from search (this will not be indicated in your inventory view). After our issue was resolved, that tool reported that the ASIN was indeed searchable, which I also verified myself.

Here's to hoping we don't have this issue again.

This is a common tactic used by another seller who does not want you selling the same product as him. All someone has to do is report a problem with the page. Select Adult In Nature, and the auto bot takes the listing down.

Now comes the problem of actually finding a real Amazon human to assist in sorting the situation out. It can take months.

Hello @Seller_nyRxGvVpaw15X,

Thanks for posting to the Forums. I've reviewed the details of this issue, and see that the product can be found by searching the ASIN B076CQJ2ZH and the keywords "Wine chiller for bottles", as shown below:

https://www.amazon.com/s?k=Wine+Chiller+for+Bottles&crid=14NTPGSWSOUQO&sprefix=wine+chiller+for+bottles%2Caps%2C184&ref=nb_sb_noss_1

Our support case on this issue (CASE ID 16388432921) is still ongoing, and seller support has been unable to resolve the issue despite 5 attempts.

We have even turned off sponsored products ads (which costs us all of the remaining sales we had on this product with every day that passes), to clearly demonstrate that our product does *not* in fact appear when searching for the ASIN directly.

At this point, I'm getting repetitive and conflicting answers from the support teams- sometimes they say they have removed the adult restriction, others saying there is no adult restriction but that they removed a "block from all product searches". In either case, we are still being search suppressed with no known justification.

Can @Manny_Amazon or any other moderator please help bring some closure to this case?
