WHY HAS AMAZON CHANGED THE WAY THEY DISPLAY THEIR BOOK LISTINGS?
Why oh why has amazon changed the way they display their book listings?
This new method of displaying books is HORRIBLE. Why does Amazon constantly change everything about their system and always for the worst? Has Amazon ever done anything that benefits vendors? If they have I don't remember it. If you wonder why you aren't selling books anymore look no further than this new display method, sales are going to go into the tank and stay there. No wonder Amazon never makes money. They sure don't want us to succeed that's for sure.

Yes, it's very bad the way books are listed now. I list mostly collectible books which are very hard to find now with only used books showing. It requires a lot of clicking and digging to find my books. I doubt many buyers will go to that much trouble.

Hello @Seller_U6YKK4OOgB7e7,
Michelle at Amazon here. I am sorry to hear that you do not like the current layout. Occasionally, we test features or updates on the website to make sure we're delivering the best experience for our customers. Right now, we're testing changes to the format selector on books detail pages. While these tests are in progress, some randomly-selected users will see the website functioning differently than it usually does. Other users will see the website functioning normally, but this is to be expected until the tests are finished. When we change the site, we use these tests to make sure that the changes improve the customer experience.
Thank you for your feedback.
Regards,
Michelle

Thanks for this post. I sell used books and I haven't had any sales lately and I was wondering why. I hope improvements are made soon.
