Product Performance - Page Views

Hello fellow sellers and Amazon reps - can somebody please explain what 'Page Views' means on the new Product Performance section of the Seller Central home page?

I assumed it meant how many times the ASIN page has been viewed, but obviously not, since I have hundreds of sales on items with zero page views:

So, guys, what does 'Page Views' mean?

Hi @Seller_LAhuiXJ4eMubd,

your understanding of Page Views is correct. According to Amazon’s Business Reports glossary, a page view is defined as:

"Visits to your offer pages for a selected time period (a session). A user may view your offer pages multiple times within a single session, resulting in a higher number of page views than sessions.

When a child ASIN is visited, it does not also count as a visit to the parent ASIN. Additionally, visits to your storefront or a browse node do not count as page views."

In your case, I believe the reason you're seeing sales but zero page views is simply due to a reporting delay. The new Product Performance section can take up to 48 hours to show data. If your screenshot reflects activity from today or even yesterday, that would explain the missing numbers.

Hope that clears it up!

Kind regards,

Michael
