(Mod Request) FBA shipment stuck in "in transit - out for delivery" for over a month, despite the carrier tracking stating it was delivered a month+ ago - infinite loop

Seeking mod help to initiate manual review of an issue that's causing me a lot of headaches.

The issue I'm having is that the carrier (USPS) website states that an FBA parcel was delivered over a month ago, on 8/6/24. The Amazon (user seller central, and agent support data) system has had the parcel in "in transit - out for delivery" status for over a month.

I have been trying to open an investigation about this, but every time the investigation eligibility date arrives, it gets extended another 2 weeks the day of. This has happened 2 times in a row so far.

During this time, I have been issued a shipment defect and assosiated fees, on the ground that the parcel was never recieved.

I disputed the shipment defect, citing the carrier tracking stating that the parcel was confirmed delivered over a month ago, but this was denied, on the grounds the amazon system says it never arrived. I am not allowed to appeal this decision. I provided the relevant tracking information in the appeal.

The shipment was created around 6 weeks ago. I have opened numerous cases about this, but I keep getting told that I need to wait until the investigation eligibillity date, which continues to get postponed by 2-3 weeks the day of the investigation date.

Support agents tell me that the shipment is taking time to travel between fulfillment centers, but the amazon system says it never arrived in the first place. They also tell me that amazon expects it to arrive by [2 weeks from date of conversation], and continues to get extended. They tell me date extension is very rare but there is no limit to how much it can be done.

Because the date keeps getting pushed back (for nearly a month now), I can't open a case to get anyone to investigate the root of the problem, which is the discrepency between the amazon and carrier tracking system. Despite this, I was still issued a defect and cgarged assosiated fees.

There seems to be an issue with the amazon system recognizing the shipment is still in transit, and that is why it keeps extending the date, because it expects it to arrive. Because of this the investigation date continues to get extended so I can never open an investigation to get someone to look into the root issue, which is the carrier-amazon tracking discrepency.

I'm having significant issues with getting mostly canned responses that don't address the issue, or completely stonewalled. I'm stuck in this infinite loop of not being able to get the root problem looked into because of the nature of the root problem. There were several other boxes in this shipment, this is the only one with a delay or issue.

Could somone please help me with this?

Thank you very much.

Case ID: 15985087881 (shipment defect appeal denied, without option to appeal, on ground the package never arrived)

Case ID: 16003306031 (support agent acknowledges the carrier tracking states it was delivered, and that seller central does not reflect this)

Case ID: 15984159611 (support agent saying I must provide proof it was delivered, and open another ticket)

Case ID: 16003306031 (support agent denying looking into anything or considering anything i'm saying until investigation eligibility date [which keeps getting extended 2-3 weeks the day of]
