FBA and FBM

Hello, I have just sold out of a SKU which was FBA. I want to now change it to FBM. Can I change it to FBM whilst the orders on FBA are still in Pending status? I'd like swap it over ASAP as it's an easter product and would like to get a couple more days sales with stock I have myself. Many thanks for any help.

Any of those sales could be cancelled leaving you with no active FBA offer. Why not just add an FBM SKU and leave the FBA one alone?

You can have an FBM and an FBA offer on the same ASIN.

Unless you are in the Handmade catalogue? (you can't have FBA and FBM for the same product on the Handmade catalogue like you can in the main catalogue).

In which case, yes, you can change it to FBM. The pending orders wont be affected by that.

If any of the FBA orders are returned, they'll just go to stranded and, if you convert back to FBA again later, they will become available to buy.

I regularly convert listings to FBM while units are in transit to the warehouse and then convert back to FBA as soon as they show as stranded (so that I'm not out of stock). I also regularly do what you are suggesting, convert to FBM when FBA sells out (with pending orders outstanding). In the main catalogue, I just have 2 listings and it is simpler!

add a new product using the same ASIN and when listing it sellect shipped by seller (FBM)

that way you have 2 listing 1FBA and 1 FBM
