I have come to the conclusion with the latest raft of bizarre changes made to listings and inventory and the whole process of listing and updating listings, that Amazon management have no idea of what is actually being done. I assume that these teams and team leaders who are changing things on a daily basis are happy with what they do, even when about 95% of it is totally unnecessary and a lot of it makes life a lot harder.
When something works really well, what is the point of changing it to something that works less well, it is constant and very annoying.

I am sure Amazon Management pay some Ideas person a lot of money, so they have to seem worth their money and keep coming up with new things.
Most of which annoy Sellers, but they do not care at all.
SS are not trained and have their hands tied anyway, like they can see unfair feedback, but cannot be removed.
Someday in the future, Amz will not exist, another Company will take over the internet by storm, etc (or what ever takes over from the Internet).
Example, who in the 1990's thought Nokia would be no more. In the 1960's Woolworths and shops were busy, but things change. Amz will go at some point, especially as it does not look after its Sellers. Bz has made his money, and since then, it has gone down hill.
It needs some major competition to change, that will likely be the downfall, as too late, it has not looked after Sellers and Sellers will jump ship.
you'll find its all AI driven, and box ticking with listings - if something is flagged by a bot it needs to be unflagged - but that has a knock on effect down the line - thats why we all have listings that are red flagged forever and not editable - no one is in control - the computer is in control - and amazon staff are fighting it too on a daily, case by case bases - they are probably having the same frustrations as us
So, you are looking for a new product and want to scan through the pages in the catalogue, it now appears in an A5 sized window with minuscule images that you can't see, these pages used to be full page and you could see the images, Amazon PLEASE what is going on? These changes are more than ridiculous and these people need to be reigned in as these changes make no sense whatsoever and they are making changes that I am sure are not approved by anyone with any common sense.
Hello @Seller_AJxxLujbGDqaW,
We understand these platform changes can be frustrating. While Amazon updates its systems to improve the marketplace, we know this impacts your daily operations.
I'll pass your concerns to the relevant team for evaluation.

Constantly bombard management with emails about seller support CEO is John Boumphrey , I do this on a daily basis but it needs everyone on here to do the same before changes happen so share this message and get everybody emailing THE MANAGEMENT TEAM CONSTANTLY
I understand that you have suffered a personal loss which makes the serious Amazon issues you are experiencing even worse for you however writing to them every day (you previously mentioned 200 emails) is extremely ineffective and pointless. You have probably heard of "auto-delete". My auto-delete list of regular email senders gets longer every day and I suspect that yours was added to the management team's list after the first 10 emails.
I suggest you take a step back and change your strategy as your current strategy of 8 months is clearly not working.
Good luck.
Like most large corporations someone who has no ground working floor knowledge, sits in their ivory tower and makes decisions up there.
These "improvements" have just made Amazon 20 times worse than before, managing case logs, listing a new single product, trying to navigate to another country to name a few!!
What with that and how robotically useless Seller Support are no wonder Amazon is losing business to TT and others.
Just had a long conversation with seller support regarding the new AI pricing model that has been added to inventories, it is now impossible to change pricing down as the system has now created its own minimum selling prices that were never entered by the seller, so if you have a product at £7.99 and you now want to sell it at £5.99 you can't, a red box appears and tells you that you cannot sell below your minimum price of £6.99, the problem is there is nowhere on the listing that has a minimum price and it cannot be changed.
The only solution is to delete the product and add it again and that seems to work, seller support had no idea how to change the minimum selling price other than to offer some solutions that clearly would make no difference.
This change was made a few weeks ago and is obviously AI driven and another mad retrograde step. Has anyone else had this issue?
When will someone step in and bring some common sense into Amazon?
Yes, they know, and they don't care, because they get paid to do literally nothing.
