IOSS order to netherlands - what is it, what do I do?

I have sold a book to the netherlands, it has come flagged with 2 Amazon Alerts:

  1. it is an IOSS order ( whatever that is: a search does not give a definition)
and I must provide the Amazon IOSS identificarion number ( is the the same as EORI number?)
  2. It is a marketplace facilitator order, so they have dealt with the VAT side, I presume.

From another forum post I see an AMazon EU number given as IM4420001201 - can I use this?
I am registered as a private seller
I have declared VAT exeMption on Amazon - low volume sales
the book value id £20
I post via my local post office, so will be filloing out a CN22 custome form - I have found a HS tarrif number of 4901000000 from another source ( Parcelforce website tool not working).
I am at a loss for what to do just to post this book. I have spen t 2 hours going round in circles of Amazon guides, gov’t websites etc. please help!
I hate brexit.

Honestly if you are only getting the odd order i would turn off your EU sales it’s not worth the stress

That is Amazon’s IOSS number. Not only is the number you can use - it’s the number you must use.

That is the correct HS tariff code for books.

A small point to note: IOSS customs declarations must be made electronically nowadays. Filling out a CN22 by hand will likely be insufficient.

For a definition of IOSS, see:
https://ec.europa.eu/taxation_customs/ioss_en

(I found that just now by Googling it.)
