How Can I Get Information About Why A Listing Has Been Suspended?

Hi,

A listing of mine has been suspended but Amazon won't give me any explanation as to why. I've contacted seller support, the only thing they do is escalate it to the 'specialist team' who reply to the case with a generic email that doesn't explain anything. Even when they say they'll ask for information as to why, I just get the generic email back from the specialist team.

It's a cosmetic product, I have a cosmetic product safety report (CPSR) for the product and have given them this but it's not enough apparently. I can't think of anything else. I make a living largely selling this specific product and I'm at a loss here, does anyone have any idea what else I can do?

Amazon specialise in not telling you why you have been suspended / your brand restricted etc.

I have no idea why they do this - it is certainly not very professional.

I hope you have your own website and sell on other platforms, when you're so heavily invested into one product line, Amazon cannot be relied upon as safe and consistent income generator. At any moment something could go wrong randomly, resulting in your primary income being cut off.

Amazon expect you to follow every rule, provide every bit of information while at the same time provide you with no information. Will be good if you update how your issue was resolved on here, for the rest of us who no nothing about the why but accept the loss on a repeat basis.

After about a week I have had no resolution. Seller support tell me the only people able to reinstate the listing are the specialist internal team who conveniently have no phone number, and every time I reach out to them via a case I get the exact same response, word for word, which offers no help.

I'm considering deleting the product and creating a new listing with a new SKU and ASIN to sell the product. Does anyone have any thoughts on this, will that work? It's a far from ideal option as I'll obviously lose my ranking, reviews etc, but I'm out of options as far as I can tell. Any thoughts on this would be appreciated, thank you.
