Returned not received from buyer

Hi. I have a return request from a buyer. I issued a refund already however he hasn't sent the item back to me. What I can do to get the refund back in case he doesn't send it back? I don't find any phone number to contact Amazon Seller customer service.

You will most likely never get your money and/or the item back-rookie move. Not a good idea, ever.

If you've already issued a refund but the buyer hasn’t returned the item, that's frustrating. In most case, if a buyer doesn’t return the item within the specified timeframe (usually 45 days), if you used Amazon’s shipping label you're eligible to file a SAFE-T claim to recover the refund amount. It’s super critical to follow Amazon’s process and only accept returns through Amazon’s official return system. In this way, you are protected and everything is tracked. Don’t arrange returns off-platform or communicate outside of Amazon messages, otherwise it becomes really difficult to get support or file claims. As for contacting Seller Support, you’re right, they don’t give out phone numbers directly anymore. But you can go to Seller Central > Help > Get Support, and from there, you can request a callback or open a case through the system. Hope this helps!

The only thing you can do is enjoy the thought of the customer getting your product for free. Also, once you issue a refund yourself to a buyer and you did not have them go through Amazon A-Z for the refund you lose your right to any claim as Amazon sees it as you agreed to give them the item for free without a return required. You can try to file a claim but you will get denied because you already refunded on your own.

I am having similar problem, over the last few months I've had about 10 orders get returned and the refund was Auto-authorized but the item was never sent back. To file an A-Z claim I have to receive the item so now it seems I am just stuck in limbo.
