I need to change the Primary user

I no longer work at the company i am the primary user for but agreed to help transfer the permissions over to another user. For all the other seller accounts we have ( Newegg, Shopify etc.) it took 1 phone call and it was completed. We've now spent hours on the phone with amazon over 2 months across 3 different cases and they cant seem to do it. They've even told us they completed the switch (this was a lie) at one point.

I know this is a common subject with amazon. Has anyone had any luck?

Steve from Amazon here, thank you for reaching out. A primary user can access the user permissions page to invite secondary users and grant them access to perform account-related activities. A secondary user who has been explicitly granted permission to access the user permissions page by the primary user can access the page. Other secondary users cannot access this page.

After reviewing this resource, if you are still having issues please provide me with the latest case ID you have created to Seller Support for this issue and I am happy to review further.

The team has reviewed this situation and has determined that this is a request to transfer selling accounts which cannot be done. Primary users can add users to the account, however Primary users cannot be changed. The new primary user will need to create a new selling account.

Can I transfer my seller account?

Please let me know if there are any questions.
