Proof stating that the Brand which you are using is affiliated with the UPC/EAN owner.

Hi, can anyone help me with the following please.

I am a novice Amazon seller specializing in reselling a limited selection of various generic products.

The products were categorized as 'Generic' under the 'Brand' section, and the product ID was recorded as a G-TIN13 code (UAN)..

Nevertheless, upon attempting to verify the listing, I encounter an 8572 error code prompt.

Amazon has now initiated a request for the following information:

Proof stating that the Brand which you are using is affiliated with the UPC/EAN owner. This can be in any one of the below forms:

- Document showcasing copyright, trademark or website which displays your products or brand and its relationship with the UPC/EAN owner. (We only consider official websites owned by the brand, manufacturer or the UPC/EAN owner – the affiliation should be clearly called out)

- A copy of a letter or legal agreement from the manufacturer, or brand stating that the UPC/EAN(s) you are using to list this product is valid and owned by them OR that you are allowed to use your own UPC/EAN(s) to sell unique products with their brand.

- The letter should establish that there is a relationship between the barcode owner associated with your prefix and the brand. The email or letter must also include the point of contact at the brand or manufacturer that Amazon can contact to verify. This can be found in the footer of the email or indicated in the text.

Despite my attempts to respond multiple times, Amazon continues to send repetitive generic emails, hindering any progress in moving forward.

Any help/advice would be much appreciated, Thank You.

Certainly, it should not be this challenging to list a generic product with the correct Product ID and other relevant details.

Thanks Again.

I assume the barcode as logged on GS1 has a brand that conflicts with the Generic it’s been logged as o amazon. So Amazon is querying that. Look up the barcode on GS1, it should say who owns it and what they have set the brand up as.
