How many product images?

I never noticed this until I updated my product images.In the Manage Images page, we&#39;re told that we can upload 9 images. I&#39;ve done that.However, on the actual product listing, only 7 are shown. I did a little browsing around Amazon, looking at other unrelated products, and I didn&#39;t see anything with more than 7 images in the thumbnails.Am I missing something?

My current understanding is that the detail page is limited to showing 7 images - the main image, and up to 6 alternate images. While you can upload 8 alternate images, only 6 can be displayed on the detail page at this time.You can see this in the <a href="https://sellercentral.amazon.com/help/hub/reference/G200291770" target="_blank">Images </a>help page.
