Does this affect different sizes? And are the same (partly wrong) images displayed for all size variants?

If so, Amazon has defined the size of your items as a so-called non-visual dimension. Then all items of the same colour or style have identical item names and identical photos. It is the same as with items of clothing, where a T-shirt in S, M, L and XL has the same name and looks the same.

Only Amazon support can check and change this!

It is possible that your items have been assigned to the clothing category somewhere. For example, there is a so-called ‘GL category’ gl_apparel. The heading ‘Amazon Fashion’ appears at the top of the detail pages. If your items are not clothing and you see ‘Amazon Fashion’ on the item pages, then you have this second problem in addition to the variant display. Unfortunately, only support can check and change the GL categories.

If your items are indeed shoes or apparel, then the above is correct.
