account duplication error

I am quite confused and in need of some guidance as to what is going on with Amazon's seller account deactivation.
My account has been deactivated saying:
'To reactivate your account, please provide evicence that you have never owned a separate account and believe this deactivation was in error by providing supporting documentation.'
Somehow amazon system has manage to find another seller account of mine which is impossible as I am new to Amazon and only have 1 account for which my brand is trademarked. We are due to launch our brand products soon and this is just a very confusing action from Amazon.
I had changed my login email address a few months back which went through smoothly. I suspect amazon's system has not been able to comprehend that I changed my login email a few months back (very odd), and is maybe picking up that email as another account. I say this because strangely since this deactivation I keep getting emails on my old email and nothing on my new login email.
If the other email ID was still running an account, I should be able to access but that email is not being recognised so I am very confused what is going on. How on earth do I prove something that doesn't even exist? I have never experienced a system mix a simple change of email this badly that too after months.
Can someone please help me with how to resolve this ? I dont have a professional subscription as we have not yet started to sell, so can not see 'call me now' button. So how exactly do i contact a human to discuss this and get this resolved. I keep getting automated rejection emails to my appeal.

post. Anyone who can help? I forgot to add that just a day or two before this nonsensical deactivation, i got a US account deactivation email saying I need to verify using a call. I dont know why they requested this again as this has already been done previously at the initial set up stage.
Can anyone really advise what to do as I am wasting a lot of time on this ...
