Arrived at our fulfillment center as an unexpected FNSKU is NONSENSE

Hey all,

A new flavor of the month problem for sellers has arrived as "errored shipping plans".

We do everything as accurately as possible when shipping to FBA and a growing number of our larger shipments are being flagged with discrepancies. Naturally, we submit cases for reimbursement, but we are met with new language suggesting that the units have arrived at the fulfillment center as an unexpected FNSKU when compared to the shipping plan. Thus, denying the reimbursement or reconciliation.

These claims made by Selling Partner Support are FALSE and UNPROVEN. To add salt to the wound, they are also unable to recover the physical inventory because of an error that doesn't exist.

This is creating an extremely disheartening, dangerous, and UNSUSTAINABLE environment for sellers.

i am dealing with the same exact thing.

it is extremely disheartening to receive these completely fabricated and canned responses.

How can a company of Amazon’s size and stature do this to other humans?

It’s honestly insane how they are able to even try to pull this off.

The new unexpected units compared to the shipping plan message is unbelievable.

To make it even more proposterous, Amazon even has a receipts record in the ledger for the units, followed by a negative receipt several days later.

If you noticed a different FNSKU than why did you receive it as the original in the first place? And when you unreceived it, why didn’t you change the item to the FNSKU that it was? (This is all hypothetical because the units were labeled correctly.)

Unbelievable.

Even though we all know the original claim of unexpected fnsku is false.

My question is : let's play devils advocate and say it did arrive as an unexpected fnsku (which again we know it didnt) why is that "unexpected fnsku" not entered into our inventory?

They get to deny the original reimbursement claim bc it's an unexpected fnsku and then they get to keep the unexpected fnsku bc it's a unexpected fnsku? Can't possibly be both!
