Want to list both a 1 pack and a 2 pack

I have a product which can come as a 1 pack and I have listed this with Amazon.

I also want to offer a two pack to be sold packaged together for slightly cheaper than the price of two sold individually.

Amazon keep putting me on to their 'specialist team' who misunderstand the issue and guide me to bundles or variations and the stop my ability to reply to the email!!!

Can anyone help?

I think the only way you can do this is by obtaining a GS1 EAN number direct from GS1 and applying this to the pack of 2. You then add it as a variation. This may cause an issue matching the EAN to the Brand though.

I'm not sure what the minimum GS1 subscription is.

Correct answer above. You would require a GS1 EAN barcode for the pack of 2 (or get GTIN exemption for whatever the brand and category is).

That being said, if its a branded product, you may not be able to list without having a barcode that is associated with the brand, and you may not be able to get GTIn exemption for the brand either.

Also note there are some rules around Multipack ASIN creation in the ASIN Creation Policy

You could just of course use Manage Promotions to offer a discount should a customer purchase 2.

Hi, apply for GS1 EAN barcode exemption, my products don't have a barcode so what i do is just do a parent/child on the listing and the 2 packs you want to sell together just list as another product on the orginal advert.
