Amazon piggybacking on our listings

We sell FBA items and we dont have authorized distributors. But we found a few sellers, including Amazon, selling our products and are piggybacking on our listings! I have tried opening infringement cases against them, but Amazon is no help at all. What steps can I take to get them off my listing?

Hi

1st they are not your listings, they are Amazon’s and you just list your product on them.

Anybody else (including) Amazon who sells the same item has to list it along with you item.

You say “your” items. Do you make them yourselves? How would Amazon get hold of stock?

Have you got the ASIN so we can see.

Thanks

Mark

Is the product itself (as opposed to just the packaging) branded with a registered trademark? If not then there’s not really anything you can do about it.

If the product is branded, and they are selling a generic item, then you can “report a violation” with seller support

There is absolutely no way you have exclusivity rights with Lamborghini, Land Rover, Zonda etc to re-badge already licenced products as your own. If they’re not licenced then they’re counterfeit.

Amazon adding stock could be the last of your worries.

Complain to Amazon and Amazon will have to send a policy violation warning to itself.

That would be funny.

First and foremost send other sellers a warning, saying they have 24 hours to remove listing or a formal complaint will be forwarded to Amazon and that their selling account will then be at risk. That should scare them away.

The title of your Thread says it all ! Amazon piggybacking on our listings as previously mentioned, not only on his thread but many, many times in the past this site and ALL its listings belong to Amazon.
The brands mentioned are so large that contesting Amazon’s right to advertise alongside you is futile
They know exactly what they are doing and can undercut at each and every turn (even at a loss to obtain a future line of demand.)
Do not whatsoever report Amazon to Amazon , this is ludicrous
and will be counterproductive and you will be suspended with all Plans of Actions being refused …
However…all is not lost, learn how to play the game and you will be fine!
in other words ( in this instance) suck it up and move on…

Hi Playtech_

Although I appreciate your frustration…all the posts below are correct. You do not have ownership/exclusivity rights on these products therefore anyone can list them and piggyback your listings.

As Anglo has mentioned it would be better to simply leave this alone and move on with any other products you have listed otherwise you will be wasting a lot of time and could also possibly upset the agents of account suspension!

All the best
