Buyer claims wrong book was sent
A buyer has left a message (presumably one of those that goes to Amazon as a complaint and is sent on to us rather than a direct Buyer-Seller message). He says that the wrong edition of a book was sent (calling it "bait and switch"), but gives no title or Order number, only a description of the bucks subject. Neither did he give a date for the order. I apologized for any mixup and told him to return the book for a full refund. He gave us an "Issue not Resolved" rating through Amazon. I messaged him again saying it would not be possible to help him without the title of the book and the Order number.
Trouble is, even with the limited title information he has given, I cannot find order from him and no title that matches the sketchy description he has given.
And of course any help requested from Amazon is demanding an Order number.
Any ideas?
