Seeking selling approval.
increasingly I am asked for receipts for a restricted product. Can this be any receipt from a wholesaler but not necessarily the product I am applying for?I ask because some sellers seem to have got approval even if the product is not new,so they cannot get a receipt for second hand goods can they?

John, am I right in thinking you are a bookseller ? - apologies if I am wrong. There is an ongoing thread about needing to get approval for second-hand books, and how ridiculous it is, as Amazon are ignoring the rule of law. Here is the thread:

It used to be the case, prior to this silly invoice requirement, that if you had to get approval for a particular book, once acquired, it covered everything from that publisher.
Today who knows. I don't get it very often; I've always assumed I'm 'Grandfathered' in for many publishers, having obtained approval in the past.
