Each time I write a brand name in the product listing, an error appears mentioning that the name was taken before. I wonder if I can pick any brand name like my brick and mortar store name for example or the brand name on my website

If you are receiving an error code that mentions the brand name needs approval, please request brand approval.

Before you list your product under a brand, you must obtain brand approval from either the brand owner, submit a brand name request, or register in Amazon Brand Registry.
