Support is terrible here...

Hello,

This post is not meant to be disrespectful or rude. I also will not go to go in details about my problem at Amazon because I do not want to make this a duplicate thread. This thread is simply about the awful support experience that is making me second guess selling on Amazon. This is a post to complain about the awful modus operandi of Amazon support teams I have been experiencing first hand.

I had previously tried to solve a problem I had through Account health, seller support and violation tickets. Over the spam of 6 months none have helped me, only gave me band aid solutions, gave me answers that conflicted with what the other support team would tell me, passed me to the other team and / or ghosted me.

I ended up posting on these forums, hoping someone would help and the mods said they would help me. Once I gave them the info they needed, I was then ghosted. It has been over a month of @Jaijai_AMZ_136 and 2 months of @Jurgen_Amazon asking me for the info they needed to solve my problem and then never getting back to me and eventually ghosting me. Why ask for this info to begin with?

Amazon company seniors, if you end up reading this post ever, your support sucks. There is no way to solve problems that are slightly complicated with your support teams. They are either powerless, underpaid or clueless.

If you read the Forum at all you will find hundreds of similar posts about the quality of support.

Many times the issue is unrealistic expectations of how fast Amazon should respond. In other cases it involves a situation where things can take weeks/months to be reviewed by the legal department.

Amazon does NOT have sufficient staff IN THE US to deal with everything since they farmed most of it offshore where it is less expensive to hire people.

EVERYTHING is backed up due to all the suspensions for people that simply can't be bothered to read any rules as well as other changes that they have made regarding ‘generic’ product rules.

Amazon time is not anything close to what the rest of the world recognizes as a time frame. That (insert a number) of hours used so often by Amazon can be anywhere from three days to three weeks or even much longer as you have seen.

The only way it gets better is if some other websites grow sufficiently and offer superior support and FORCE Amazon to spend money to improve.

Since for every unhappy seller that leaves here there are 1000 applying to sell that is not going to happen.

I am providing these screenshots to further prove my point that support is terrible here. Support teams should not be ghosting sellers. If you cannot help, you should not be ghosting us.

Please look at the screenshots. @Jaijai_AMZ_136asked us over a month ago to provide them with the info needed. We were then ghosted as usual.

Here is another mod @Jurgen_Amazon asking me for case information over 2 months ago, then ghosting me as well. How is this the usual method of operation?

Is there no supervisors at Amazon? This is very unprofessional. Please check this screenshot as well.

Seller support is the worst part about selling on amazon. You'd think a company this big and this successful has some idea of what logic and reason is. Discernment. Common sense.

Nope. Might as well talk to an angry squirrel. Same thing. And the departments that matter the most are no0t even reachable by phone. All email, and then they come back with some bs template worthless response.

I agree, and it's cost me thousands. One of Amazon's leadership principles is 'Customer obsession', I'd say that this department has failed at that principle. Actually, I can name several.

One of my posts were ignored because the first sentence. 'Deep Dive' is a leadership principle.

Legitimate Support can take weeks to months. 'Act Rapidly' and 'Deliver Results are leadership principles.

Earn trust too.... I've grown to trust this department less. I'm constantly getting screwed over, and I work for Amazon too!

Yes, they're horrible; but nothing will change unless they need to unfortunately. I wish that wasn't the case, but as long as people continue to sell; it makes no sense for them to invest more into support.

Hello,

Thank you for saying something, even though it is pointless / hopeless. Amazon has no seller support, only robots and lies... When Amazon makes mistakes sellers have no way to get support, even more insulting is they never admit mistakes. When you open a case they ask for a phone number knowing 100% that no person works there and sellers can never receive a call back. I know because I've done it dozens of times over the years. Sad future ahead when corporate greed is more important than anything else!
