Food business - creating traceability records for product recalls

Hello,

To comply with UK legislation, we are required to ensure we are able to match product batch/lot numbers to each order placed on Amazon, in the event of a product recall.

Has anybody had experience with this? We contacted seller support and they recommended we change the SKU. However, that would require deleting the listing every time we receive a new batch.

It doesn’t
A sku is separate to an asin
All you do with the new batch is go to the asin in your inventory and using the edit drop down box, select ‘add another condition’ and it creates a new sku on the same asin where you can add relevant expiry info
