What are the next steps? You are invited to appear for virtual identity verification
Hello.
I received an email on Monday about "You are invited to appear for virtual identity verification" and providing the documents about 1 of my ASINs to verify the supply chain.
I did upload the document on the link provided in the email, I had a call the same day with a customer representative. After the call, he said that I will need to provide bank statements to verify the purchases and he sent me an email about that as well. I sent all the statements within 5 mins by responding to the email, but was it correct? I have no idea where I was supposed to send those additional documents?
Also, on the account health I still have this "You are invited to appear for virtual identity verification" warning and the button "appeal". Do I need to do something there as well? I am just scared that I would waste time or I didn't do something right...However, on this appeal button they ask some documents that I cannot even have and it's an obligatory form. I bought my items at the brand store, and I do not have any transportation documents, and all of that.
Could someone please share your experience?

Hey @AngieS
I hope this finds you well!
In regards to the virtual identity verification interview you have been requested to participate in, it does appear you will need to also submit the requested documentation for the team to review. The interview is still an integral part of the process. Generally, the documents will be requested and then you will receive an invite for the virtual interview once those documents have mt the requirements set forth in the responsible sourcing documentation policy.
Listed below are the requirements for sourcing documentation request:
Copies of invoices, receipts or other similar documents that demonstrate where your products are produced or manufactured
These documents:
- Should reflect the sales volume of your product across all Amazon marketplaces in the last 365 days
- Should demonstrate your product’s full supply chain
- Should include contact information for the supplier(s) and the original manufacturer. We may contact suppliers or manufacturers to verify the documents
Your documents should be able to trace your products to the original manufacturer even if you did not purchase them directly from the original manufacturer. This may require requesting additional invoices or supply chain documentation from your supplier if you are not sourcing directly from the manufacturer.
You may remove pricing information, but the rest of the document must be visible to enable adequate review of the documents you provide. For ease of our review, you may highlight or circle the ASIN(s) under review.
Occasionally, there is the request sent for a letter of authorization or licensing agreement. This document will almost always have a |scope of grant of license and conditions, if any, for exercising the rights so licensed." The five key terms which must be present in every IP licensing agreement submitted to Amazon are:
- 'Licensor'–The company/brand providing the rights to intellectual property
- 'Licensee'–The company/brand receiving the rights to use the intellectual property.
- ‘Grant’–The intellectual property being licensed and the scope of rights granted
- ‘Geographic Scope’–The specific territory or territories where use is authorized (may be worldwide)
- ‘Term’–The duration of the authorization (may be perpetual)
What are these documents you are unable to provide?
If you would like to provide any newer, recent information or communication you have received here, please do so. This will enable the community and I to assist to the best of our ability.
All the best,
Stevie.

I have exactly the same problem and I am still waiting. Could you give me any updates on what happened with your case and verifications please?
