Coupon creation failed
Hello,
Ever since Amazon change dashboard and coupon creation rules, I haven't been able to create a coupon for my main product. Creating a coupon for this ASIN was a regular task. Now, I'm not able to create a coupon again. The workflow shows an error saying that the product is not valid!!
I opened a case since March 23 and the issue still hasn't been resolved.

This ASIN is my best seller and coupons and promotions are part of the marketing strategy and the case is idle as of today.
Please help.

I reviewed your Case and the issue with failed creation. Note that approximately six hours before your coupon start time, our system validates your coupon to make sure it offers a good value to our customers. These validation rules are continuously enforced throughout the duration that your coupon is active. If one or more of the ASINs in your coupon doesn't pass any of these rules, we disable the coupon offer on that ASIN or ASINs and activate the coupon on the rest of the ASINs that pass validation.
In your case, the ASIN doesn't meet coupon price requirements. Please refer to the help page I have linked below.

I understand your frustration. I reviewed your Case 14993460151. The message does not mean that your ASIN is not available for purchase on Amazon.com. The message means that since we changed the algorithm that validates the product there is some aspect of your product that disqualifies it at this time from being offered with a coupon.

I had the same issue where it was saying my item was priced alot higher than it was so the coupon didnt bring the offer down to below the best price in the last 90 days. Only way it resolved was lowering the List price and "your price"

It seems that Amazon is now telling what price point the coupon needs to be..... its a new thing and clearly it is annoying and making it even more difficult (than it already is...) to control the net selling price.... therefore making it even more difficult now than ever before to make a profit.... it really seems to be "all in for the house"...
