Suspicious email received : Accounts set to inactive due to dormancy
Received an email with subject "Action required: Account set to inactive due to dormancy" from "donotreply@amazon.com" recently.
However, we do not see any account detail in the email content. In the mail, it didn't provide a reason why our account change to inactive status, why we need to input our credit card information again if there is no change on the payment method.
Would you please confirm if this email is send from Amazon officially and it is a phishing email or not.
Thank you

Hello @AI_JAPAN,
Thank you for posting your concerns with your verification.
As you mentioned, you received a request to verify information within your account, this is a common request to confirm that information is up to date within seller central.
You can typically confirm this came from us by reviewing your performance notifications. There is also a banner that is visible in the account information section of seller central also requesting you complete these steps.
This banner will typically request information related to a government issued ID, bank or credit card statement and if applicable you can provide a business license to help re-verify this information.
When you navigate to the account information page, do you see this request and requirement? If you’re not seeing this banner, I would ask that you provide a screenshot of this page so that we can look further into this concern.
The forums community and I are here to support you. Please let us know how we can help you from this point forward.
