FBA seller - received violation - for wrong product sent
Hi,
I am an FBA seller. Received 2 complaints from customers saying they received the wrong item. Items were totally random and sent by amazon as its FBA.
I relay this to Amazon but they dont take notice.
How do I deal with this and remove the issue as its not my fault. I have already deleted the listing to avoid any more issues.

We have a lot of "defective" returns that turn out to be a totally different item. Possibly due to customers returning the wrong item, I think amazon would just relabel and put it back into stock.
We also get FBM customers returning different items, usually because they have requested a return on the wrong order or purchased two similar items and returned the wrong one.
Have you had the incorrect item returned to you to clarify that the item is actually different?
Appealing the violation could be difficult, we have tried in the past but Amazons stance is that we must have labelled them incorrectly even though it is a product we have never sold so impossible to label something you have never had in stock.
You would need to create a removal order for all stock of the item, check them and then resend to FBA to ensure there aren't anymore.

You can request a product level check to ensure your remaining stock is correct without having it sent back to you.

Ask for a 'bin check'. You can do this via the standard CS console. Ask for photographs also. That way you can check the actual physical contents of the FNSKU bin.
