By doing FBA you turned everything including returns over to AMAZON. The product will be returned to them, not you.
If the buyer does NOT return the item Amazon will eventually refund the money to you (unless it was marked as an item that didn't need to be returned) but it can take a month or more for them to add it to your account.

The information shared with you by @Seller_kIukTwdhvntApis correct. When a customer returns an order that was Fulfilled by Amazon (FBA) we evaluate the condition of each returned item. If we determine that the item is sellable, we return it to your inventory. If we determine that it is unsellable (defective or damaged, for example), we assess who caused the damage. Then we decide if you are eligible for a reimbursement. Please visit the help page I have linked below for more detailed information.
