Trademark Address

Hello Folks,

I could not find enough answer on forum. I hope somebody helps me.

My registered address is my home address on Amazon. But I use my legal entity and business address as my LLC in the US. I have registered agent address' as my LLC's business address. I am from another country by the way not US.

I am going to start trademark progress this week. However my attorney said "you can't use registered agent address as your address on USPTO form." So Its actually my business address on Amazon.

I am not sure what will happen if I use my official registered address on Amazon for USPTO form with my LLC's name. Or should I just apply for trademark with my personal name and address. Will amazon accept it on Amazon Brand registry ? I am so confused. As I know amazon care a lot about the address's and name matches.

Does anybody know about that ?

Without specifics, it can be difficult to provide specified guidance. So, lets start with what I think is the simplest way to think about the business verification part of the Amazon Brand Registry enrollment process. Whatever address you have in USPTO needs to match all the info you provide in the enrollment application. This part is one of the many checks to validate you (or your business) actually own the TM.

There is an additional help page that is newly created on this topic called Brand Registry application business information and it is located on the Brand Registry site.

ALSO, there is an Ask Amazon event happening tomorrow specifically on the business verification for Brand Registry. Although the event will be live tomorrow, you can post your question now or join the Get answers about Business Verification for Brand Registry at an Ask Amazon event on October 16th tomorrow! This event is the first time we are having this team with us to directly answer questions, so I do encourage you to join.

If you are unable to join, that is ok and I can continue to assist you on this thread as needed.

That is correct.

So Its actually my business address on Amazon.

My registered address is my home address on Amazon.

THAT will create problems. Or you are an Individual with your home address in your account settings, OR you are a US LLC with US address in your account settings. You can't be both.
