How To: Recover Your Account after Two-Step Verification Fails
If Two-Step Verification fails and you can't access your account, you can try to recover your account.
To regain access to your account, you'll need to verify your identity by providing a scan or photo of a government-issued identity document. To protect your account, we won't be able to make changes to your Two-Step Verification settings until your identity is successfully verified. If you are able to sign in to your account, you'll have access to make changes to your account.
Before you begin account recovery, try to sign in with a registered backup method or from a trusted device.
If you still can't sign in, to recover your account:
- Go to Two-Step Verification Account Recovery.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to upload your identity document.
- Make sure that your name and address, and the issuing authority (for example, state or country) are visible.
- Cover, conceal, or remove sensitive information such as account numbers or identification numbers.
The verification process can take 1-2 days to complete. We'll email you to confirm once Two-Step Verification has been disabled. You'll then be able to access your account with only your password.

Hello,
I lost my phone line last Thursday and ever since I haven’t been able to log into my seller account. I contacted seller support that same day (7 days ago) and they told me to do the 2 step account recovery, which I did that same day, they said to wait 2 days … I waited 3 and no one contacted me. So I contacted seller support again .. they “escalated the case” now they are saying that I never submitted the ID requested to recover my account… so I have submitted over 4 times now, and they response to my case is the same a literal “copy and paste” answer saying “follow the instructions to recover it” Can you please take a look and see why amazon isn’t getting my ID when I have submitted it 4 times already?
Thankfully I am still logged into my app, but I can’t send shipments… I’m 7 days behind and my business is really taking a toll. Can you please help? @Connor_Amazon

The two step verification code is not received on my device, both primary and backup phone numbers.
I went through the two step verification recovery, submitted my document ID and NOTHING HAPPENS!!!!!
All they send is an email how to go through the 2SV recovery process, that I did tens of times already.
So frustrating and unreliable when being locked out your active seller account for a while.
PLEASE HELP!!!!!!
